Today was an action packed, get things done kind of day!! No, we didn't get spring cleaning done. No, we didn't get the calendar figured out for next week. However, we got some very important stuff taken care of!!
First we all headed over to the gym for swimming lessons. Mommy, daddy and Myla all watched while I finished up my next to last lesson for this semester. I did a great job and even listened when it was time to get out of the pool (I sometimes struggle with that). Soon after we left there we decided it was time to take Myla to Brinkman's (a.k.a. Buster Brown to all the old people out there)!
Yes, Myla Joy got her first pair of shoes!!! Mommy and daddy kind of thought she could wear my first pair of walking shoes since they had kept them and the shoes looked like brand new! Plus they realized that I had gotten my first pair right around 10 or so months old, just like Myla. However, the lady at the shoe store said that Myla needs a size 5 and my shoes were size 3! Yes, Myla has way bigger feet than I did!!! I guess that makes sense because she is pretty tall for her age!!
So we got Myla some snazzy shoes for her to walk in. We wanted to have them before our big vacation coming up in a couple of weeks. And, since we were at Brinkman's, both of us got balloons! That is one of my favorite parts about going there, except the trying on shoe part because I LOVE CUTE SHOES!!!
After Brinkman's we headed to Hair Matterz so I could get my hair done. I hate to have it combed or brushed and it is so thick that I just needed some "bulk" taken off. It was quite an ordeal and mommy says she will probably drive me to Indianapolis to Cookie Cutters next time because I like to move around and I have a very had time keeping my head straight, but Kim (a friend of my parents) did a really good job, anyway! I think mommy was just embarrassed by how much work had to go into getting it done!!
After that we went to Kohl's and got a few spring outfits for Myla and a couple for me. And then after that we dropped daddy and Myla off and....this is my favorite part of the day...we met Levi and Evan at the park!!!
This very warm weather in March is just great because me and my cousins got to play at the park for an hour and a half! It was like we hadn't seen each other in years (and it feels like it has been years)! We played and played and played. Daddy and Myla stayed home so Myla could nap and daddy could do something called a fantasy baseball draft on the computer. No idea what it is, but he was pretty serious about it!!
So after lots of playing we came home and got the rest of my family and we ALL headed over to Berry Winkle for some ice cream! It was so good and when we were done eating I did NOT want to leave my cousins. So, we all headed over to grandma and pa's house for the evening! I had such a blast and we ran all over the house! We played in the play room and Myla even got to come in there for the first time!
It was a wonderful day that ended with sadness because I had to leave my cousins. Luckily I was distracted by how good bath time was!!! I had been very sweaty and grimy! Baths for me and Myla and then BED TIME!
Yes, we accomplished so much today and it was a wonderful day!!!

Lots of Pictures
We had a big weekend! My last Upward cheerleading game for the season, a visit to Aunt Ruthie's house, church, springing forward (which I do not like...I missed that hour of sleep), and the Upward Award Ceremony! I did a great job with my two dances during the awards night and didn't even get scared cheering on stage in front of all those people! Here are lots of pictures of the last few days!!!

Thank You Notes
Thank you, Toys R Us, for having a great new chair that fits Myla perfectly so she can sit at the table with us like a big girl!!
Thank you, straw sippy cup, for holding Myla's drink and not leaking. (Today was her first day of drinking from a big girl cup.)
Thank you, Mr. Sun, for shining so brightly today so we could go to the new park and play outside.

Terrific Tuesday
Today was just terrific!! We went to Granny's house this morning and Myla got to do one of her favorite things...stand at the front door and watch outside!! We had a really good visit with everyone. Lunch was good and I even got to watch Netflix for a while.
Then this afternoon daddy and I went to Chuck E. Cheese while Myla napped. We had more fun there, too!! I played skee ball with daddy, rode the horse several times and played in the club house.
When we finished there, it was time to come home for dinner. I told mommy about the fun I'd had with daddy and then got ready for another adventure. Me and Myla and daddy got to go visit with Grandpa Joe and Grammy while mommy had her Tuesday night meeting. It was fun to tell them about swimming and cheerleading and to ride on the rocking horse they have. Me and Grandpa Joe had some pretzels and watched a little television together. It was great!
Once we were home I got to catch up with Aunt Sara. I was telling her an idea I had and I think she really liked it. I told her that tomorrow after work she should bring Evan and Levi and Uncle Lawrence to my house and we can all stay all night together! Levi and Evan can sleep in my bed with me, Myla can sleep in her bed and Aunt Sara and Uncle Lawrence can sleep on the couch (or they can just sleep in mommy and daddy's room). I thought it sounded like a great idea!! I am hoping that the grown ups actually listened and we'll try it tomorrow night!
It was a great, great day and I am ready to see what tomorrow brings!!!

Who Doesn't Like Mondays?
Some people get to eat the hot fudge sundae from McDonald's...some people just get to chew on the lid.
In other news...Myla is standing by herself most of the time and she is just so close to walking across the room!!! I got to go see a movie today with mommy and grandma and it was a really fun time. Since it was during the day on a Monday there was nobody else there and I had a blast!
This week has started off so great! Yesterday we went to church and then me and Myla spent the whole afternoon and evening with Grandma Donna and Grandpa Dave. We played and played, me and Grandpa Dave went on an adventure to took us to the hospital gift shop, the park and to rescue a kidnapped princess! It was such great fun!!
Today I had school, our movie and then a night filled with playing! I know tomorrow we go to gran's house and I think overheard that I might get to go to Chuck E. Cheese before heading over to visit Grandpa Joe and Grammy!!!

What An Awesome Saturday!
Today has got to be one of my favorite days of March so far!!! You won't believe all we did! First of all, me and mommy got up really early (well it seemed really early to me) and got ready. Grandma picked us up and we headed to Middletown to get Levi, Uncle Lawrence and Aunt Sara! We drove to some place called Hamilton Commons to a HUGE theater to watch The Lorax! It was the first time Levi had ever gone to a movie and we had a blast! We had popcorn, Swedish Fish and drinks and we watched a great movie!
While we were gone, daddy and Myla got to hang out for a while. Myla got to go to the student center with daddy and I am pretty sure that is the first time she'd ever been there. Then she got to go see Grandpa Si, Grandma Haz and Grandma Donna. She loved the deer heads on the wall (that is one of my favorite things, too) and she was quite a little entertainer! Grandma Donna brought her home when it was getting close to nap time.
What did daddy do? Well he went to church and refereed lots of basketball games for Upward. He was there most of the day.
After the movie it was time for lunch. We headed to Red Robin for some good food and some plotting. I say plotting because me and Levi got it all worked out that he could come to my house for a while. We made our parents offers they couldn't resist so after lunch we all headed to Muncie to play!!!
Myla and Grandma Donna were home and so Grandma Donna got to see Levi. It had been a long time since she'd seen him and he has really gotten tall! We played, the grown ups talked and it was a great afternoon.
Nap time was inevitable and everybody had to leave. Me and Myla both slept for about 2 hours and when we got up daddy was home....and Uncle Patrick was here, too!!! We had a great night. Me and Patrick played lots. We watched, "The Voice," on television, we played hide and seek, I showed him all my dress up outfits, I put on a concert! We ate spaghetti and played some with Myla.
I got a quick bath, Myla got a quick bath and then we all settled down to watch, "WipeOut." Well, Myla went to bed but I got to stay up with the adults and watch television before I had to go to bed. Oh man, it was a great day! I finally went to bed about 9pm and the adults were still going strong. I only got up once to see that daddy and Patrick were playing a game on the Wii and mommy was getting ready for her lesson tomorrow night in Kidz Zone. I thought about putting up a fight to stay up longer, but then I decided that I'd better go ahead and get some rest because tomorrow is bound to be another great day!
