Here Comes the Flower Girl
Today was Uncle Adam and Aunt Christy's wedding! It was a wonderful day! Daddy looked very handsome in his tux and everyone told me I looked like a little princess in my dress! The ceremony was beautiful and I walked down the aisle like a pro! There were lots of pictures, many tears, all kinds of smiles and lots of sweat (it was 106 degrees someone said). The reception was great fun, too!! We had a nice dinner and the cake was great. My FAVORITE part of the whole day was moving on the dance floor!!! From the time dancing started to the time my parents said it was time to leave, I was moving and grooving to all kinds of music! My cousin Alex was so nice and he danced with me a lot. It was just the best party!!! We took lots of pictures and many of them are on Facebook, but here are a few highlights for you to see!

Practice..Practice..Practice
Tonight was a great evening! I got to practice being a flower girl with my friend Emma. We are going to dress in beautiful dresses tomorrow and walk down the aisle together for Uncle Adam and Christy's BIG DAY! They are getting married!! Here are some pictures from the dinner we had after practicing! As you can see, the two of us know how to have a good time!!
A BIG WEEK!
Wednesday was the 4th of July and it was a great one for the Douglas family!!! We celebrated with Granny and the family for lunch. It was so hot outside that we HAD to get some water games out!! Myla and I just loved playing in the water with Levi and Evan. Tabatha and Jake brought water balloons and that was so much fun! THEN we celebrated Uncle Jeff's birthday with cake!
By late afternoon it was time to meet up with Grandpa Dave and Grandma Donna! We met them at Denney's and I was so surprised to see Aunt Emily, Uncle Tim, Brad, Uncle Adam and Christy!! We sat and talked in the air conditioning for a while and then I went with Grandpa Dave, Grandma Donna and Aunt Emily to the Indians game in Indy!
What a great game!! It was very hot, but we tried to stay cool in the shade by drinking water, Dip n' Dots, and all kinds of goodies!! We met Rowdie the mascot and I got a Reds hat to match the one Aunt Emily got! No game would be complete without awesome fireworks!!! By the time we all got back to Marion I was EXHAUSTED!
While I partied in Indy, mommy and daddy and Myla headed to Muncie so Myla could get a late nap. Afterwards, they headed to Granny's house because Uncle Patrick had a spectacular fireworks show planned!!! Aunt Ruthie, Lawrence and Sara and the boys, Jeff and Lesa, Tabatha and Jake, and Pa and Grandma were all there! Mommy wasn't sure how Myla would do with the noise...but Myla LOVED the fireworks!!!
We all had a Marvelous Independence Day!
