Vacations
It has been a while since we've posted. That is because mommy and daddy jumped in a plane and headed to sunny and very hot Las Vegas last week and me and Myla spent a few days with Grandma Donna and Grandpa Dave and then we spent a few days with Grandma and Pa! We all had a really great time!! It was hard for mommy and daddy to think about leaving us for a week, but we handled it like pros!
We spent a couple of nights at Clifty Falls Sate Park with Grandma Donna and Grandpa Dave. I have informed mommy that we saw wild turkeys and that me and Grandpa Dave went exploring and found a furry caterpillar. There was lots of playing to be done and tons of "swim in pool" according to Myla Joy! AND right after we got back from the state park I played t ball!!
Then Wednesday we came back to Muncie to spend a few nights with Grandma and Pa. We spent tons of time in the ball pit at their house and had lots of ice cream. We also had a bunch of craft time and I made sooo many paper snakes to scare mommy and daddy when they got home! Mommy and daddy tried to Skype with us a couple of times, but we were really busy playing so we could only spare a few seconds! I did get the see a Bellagio Water Fountain show over the internet and that was kind of cool.
Mommy and daddy celebrated their 10th anniversary a little early because they didn't want to leave for a whole week when I started kindergarten. They saw 3 great Vegas shows, walked miles and miles, went to lots of shops, melted just a little in the 107 degree heat, ate at some really fabulous restaurants, walked some more, and even had time to squeeze in a movie at the cinema! They also had a chance to visit with our cousins who live in Chicago and just happened to be vacationing in Vegas at the same time!!! I am not sure what all they did, but I know it was A LOT...just like we did A LOT!
This week we've been busy catching up on all the things we've missed, spending time with family, running to t ball games and just getting re acclimated to the real world again! And that is why we haven't written!! (P.S. Sorry you have to turn your head to see a couple of the pictures...they won't turn for some reason!)

T Ball Opening Day
We had some excitement in our house today! It was Opening Day for Miss Lynley!! She has been really happy about playing this year and the icing on the cake was when she received her uniform and it was.....ORANGE!! She says the orange goes much better with her style than the dark blue from last year.
This morning we had pictures at 8am and game time was 9am. Myla was a trooper waiting for the game in the chilly weather. She did decide to head to the car with grandma and pa during the game where it was much warmer. Lynley was a trooper who did a great job at bat AND an excellent job in the out field where she got the ball to 1st base on several occasions and did a stellar job yelling, "I GOT IT!" (Oh what a difference one year makes.) She is last batter for her team again this year, so she is getting plenty of practice running ALL the bases at once! Daddy was a trooper for working last night, coming to bed at 2am AND making it to the game to be the 3rd base coach AND stand in the rain.
Yes, that is right! It rained during the game...and the kids loved it (for the most part). There are muddy uniforms all around for parents to have ready for our next exciting game Monday night!!
