Today was a busy day! We got up and watched a movie with daddy and then we went on a secret mission! I got to pick out a present for Myla from me and she got to pick out a present for me!! We had to make sure we didn't see each other in the store, so daddy took Myla and I stayed with daddy! I was very proud because I used my own money to buy her gift. The really funny part is when we met up with daddy and Myla to head to the car, Myla immediately told me what she got me! HA HA! But, I sure didn't tell her!!
This afternoon we got to spend some time with Grandpa Joe and Grammy to celebrate Christmas. Grammy made some delicious snow sled treats and we snacked and visited for a while. It was also special because we got to help Isaac celebrate his first Christmas! We got to give out some gifts and open some, too. It was a very nice afternoon!
As soon as we left it was time to head to Granny's house to do some more celebrating! We had dinner and we played. Uncle Tim and Myla had a couple of good conversations about all kinds of stuff. I think Granny was sure glad to have everyone there and I think the adults sure liked visiting together. Me and Myla and Evan and Levi got to pass out presents and then we all got to open some. We even had some time to sing Christmas songs while mommy played the flute and grandma played the organ! And we called our Great-Great Aunt Norma to sing for her, too.
There was something unbelievable that happened again this year! You will never believe it, but Santa was outside granny's house! I remembered that we saw him last year, too!! This year we got a really good look at him. He even waved at us as all four of the cousins looked out at him. For the rest of the night we kept thinking that we heard him knocking on the door, but mommy said that he was off giving gifts to the kids who were already sleeping!!
At the end of the night we got our pj's on and sprinkled the reindeer dust outside. Then we got cookies and milk ready for Santa and read The Night Before Christmas. It didn't take much to get us in the bed because we were so very tired from a wonderful day...and because we know Santa doesn't come until we are asleep!

Celebrating Christmas - Part 2 (Christmas at Grandma and Pa's House)
Today after we came home from Grandma Donna's house we headed to Pa and Grandma's house for a Christmas celebration! First, I was blown away when we walked in because Pa and Grandma put up tons of lights in the living room. They were hanging down throughout the room and it was so cool! Then we had another treat! Grandma played the piano, mommy played the flute and we sang Christmas carols. I got to pick all my favorites to sing. Myla even joined in on a few. Then we headed to the play room while grandma and mommy played some more.
A little later the door opened and Uncle Lawrence, Aunt Sara, Evan and Levi came! We had lots of playing to do!! We had dinner, we played and we opened some gifts! It was so much fun!! After everyone opened presents we had plenty of time to play with our new toys. Pa and Uncle Lawrence even got in on the action by trying to put together Evan and Levi's new lego kits!
We had such a good time being together that we did NOT want to leave!! But, we've been told we must get good rest because we have several days to get to be with family coming up! ALSO, we cannot forget that Santa is coming tomorrow night!!
Celebrating Christmas - Part 1
Christmas celebrations really started last week when I was in the play at church, but we really kicked it up a notch on Saturday morning when we headed to Indianapolis for Jolly Days at the museum. Grandma Donna and Grandpa Dave got to go with us! It was a fabulous time. We saw Santa. I told him I wanted a scooter. Myla told him she wanted a Christmas tree. That was kind of funny, but we are just glad she didn't scream and run from Santa like she has every other year!! We saw dinosaurs and I was able to show Grandpa Dave and Grandma Donna my favorite exhibit, the National Geographic Archaeology exhibit! We rode the carousal and we did lots of playing! It was so much fun!!!
Sunday we went to church and talked about Jesus and His birthday. We had a Christmas party in Kidz Zone and I got to help wrap Grandma Dee up like a snowman!! Then we had lunch with Grandma Donna, Adam, Christy and Isaac. Me and Myla got to go spend the night with Grandma Donna and Grandpa Dave. We know how to kick off a winter break!!
