It is impossible to wrap our heads around you being a year old today! We are so blessed to call you our little girl and baby sister (though you aren't much of a baby any more). When we picked your middle name, we could not have known the enormous amount of joy that you would add to our family. You have a beautiful smile and gentle spirit that captivates each of us. Not just us, but those we meet each day. Every trip we make, even just to a store, introduces us to at least one person who comments on how happy you are or how sweet. And we have yet to meet a person who does not respond to your contagious smile and delightful attitude. You really are our Little Miss Sunshine. You truly are, just as your big sister is, the most precious gift from God.
We are so excited to continue watching you grow! It is amazing to watch you process and learn every day. It is a pleasure to see you with your big sister, who protects you and plays with you and who really is the most wonderful big sister. We hope you always light up when she enters the room.
