There has been so much to do that our heads are spinning!! Yesterday was my last day of school and it was a good time! Mommy and Pa got to come and see me get my certificate. Daddy wasn't able to make it because Myla has been feeling very yucky and mommy got her into see the doctor. Guess what...she has an ear infection! So, Myla is on medicine to make her feel better and we are all hoping it works soon because she is not a happy little girl. Daddy has been working all weekend because it is the Academy prom weekend.
To add to the business, mommy got the yuckies that Myla has and so now she feels like crud! Today was my opening day of T-Ball. I had pictures and a game. Since Myla hasn't felt good she stayed with grandma and pa while they worked at a wedding. Mommy took me and Grandma Donna came to watch my game! I did a really great job, especially considering they were running 45 minutes behind and so my whole team had to just sit in the grass for about an hour waiting our turn!! It was hot, but I practiced batting with my coach and I played with mommy's phone. Mommy and Grandma Donna cheered me on!! (By the way, I am #9.)
I really like playing ball! My favorite part is hitting the ball and running the bases. I "played" 3rd base, and it was okay...but I must say that outfield is not nearly as exciting! I occupied my time by trying to erase the white chalk line and putting dirt on the base. However, I did whatever my coach told me and when he said to run up to get the ball and throw it to first base, I DID IT! I also had two really good hits when batting. Yes sir, mommy was so proud of me because she was worried that I would quit once I started sweating! Nope, I hung in there!!
Tonight the three Douglas ladies are all tired! I think we are going to hit the sack early. Tomorrow is another busy day!
