Little Miss Sunshine's Birthday Party

Myla Joy will soon be ONE!! We decided to begin celebrating a week early by having a big party! It was a wonderful time!! She got lots of presents...fun toys to play with, lots of beautiful clothes, big girl cups, shoes....all kinds of stuff! We all had a fabulous time. My favorite part was when Myla got her very own cake to eat! Everyone sang, "Happy Birthday," and then she was allowed to dig in to her Little Miss Sunshine cake!! Well, she didn't exactly dig in, but after mommy gave her a taste of the icing and I tried to show her how to just stick her face in it, she began to stick her fingers in and take little bites. She really savored each and every bite, making sure to suck off ALL the icing from her fingers before getting another bite!! We all had cupcakes and ice cream, visited with each other, laughed and played in the gym! It was such a wonderful day!! Uncle Adam played in the gym with me and that was so fun! I also got to play with Levi and Evan! And Myla played some, too!! We were sure tired at the end of the day, but it was worth it!!
