Today I am going to talk about being brave. Mommy has been brave the last two days by going out with me and Myla all by herself during the day. We've been to Target, Wal Mart, Walgreens, Party City, the park, and Fisher's Meat Market!! I thought Wal Mart might have pushed her over the edge yesterday, but we went out again today so I guess it wasn't so bad! Grocery shopping with a nine week old and an almost four year old isn't as easy as it looks!
Myla has been very brave the last few days. She has been sleeping longer in her bed at night and she has been doing an excellent job with tummy time! She still gets ticked off when she wants to get up, but she is really doing well. She has to be very brave tomorrow because she gets her first ever shots at the doctor's office. She had one in the hospital when she was born, but she doesn't remember that so I am calling tomorrow her first experience with the needles!! I am going to be right there to help her afterwards!
I've been pretty brave, too. I have been brave on my bike, riding it like a real pro. I've also been trying new foods and really enjoying most of them. From Santa Fe chicken to waffles to french toast to pineapple rings, I am really doing a great job!
Yes, we have some brave ladies in the Douglas family!
P.S. I hope you like the outfit Myla is wearing in our pictures from today. I picked it out all by myself and mommy even let me buy it all by myself at the store!
