We Are So Blessed

I cannot even express how blessed my family is! Yesterday was an amazing day! We started out by meeting Pa, Grandma, Uncle Lawrence, Aunt Sara and the boys and going to the train yard. We didn't even know there was a place like that in Muncie, but our friends Connie and Mike just knew we'd love seeing some trains and asked if we'd like to go! Mike is an engineer and he met us there to show us a BIG ENGINE and a caboose!
It was so great! We got to climb up into the engine and sit in the drivers seat. Mike showed us where to blow the horn, how to make the train go and how to make it stop! Then we got to go through the caboose and I even climbed up to sit in the REALLY HIGH seats and look out the window.
After going through the train I enjoyed face painting, inflatable games and even some ice cream! It was so much fun and I stayed cool by standing under the mist tent!! Myla was an exceptional little sister all morning. She slept for a while and then enjoyed the shade with the adults.
I really didn't want to leave the train yard but mommy said we had to get ready for my birthday party! We ran home to change clothes and then met back up with the family for a quick bite of lunch. Mommy realized getting everything into our car was going to be a challenge, so I got to ride with Levi and Evan, Myla got to ride with Pa and Grandma and my parents went to pick up my cake!
After more play time I headed to the church to get my royal gear on for my princess party! It was such a fun party!! Lots of my family were able to come and celebrate with me. We had a great time opening presents, enjoying some cake and ice cream and beating the pinata (spell check isn't helping me out with this word)!!  I had a blast!!  So many people love me and my sister and my parents and I just know we are so very blessed to have all this family!
I was pretty tired after the party and even fell asleep on the way home.  With a short cat nap in the car I found enough energy to play with some new toys when we got home.  I even got to take a LONG BATH to play with my new twirling princess for the bath tub!
After Myla went to bed I got another present.  I had no idea it was for me, but I now have a car from Uncle Patrick to drive all around.  I am excited to take it out on Ball State campus!!  I took a short test drive and checked out the radio and then I started talking about Levi and Evan coming over to drive, too!  I was very excited and after Uncle Patrick and Uncle Jeff left I wanted to call Levi (mommy said no because it was too late).  But I am going to call them just as soon as I get some sleep so we can drive on some adventures!
You'd think I would have been ready for bed after my big day, but instead I wanted to play with my toys some more.  I had just a couple that weren't completely out of packages and I asked daddy to take them out!
Woo, I am getting tired just thinking about such a special day with such special people!!  I hope you enjoy the pictures!  I know there are a bunch, but it is so hard to decide which ones to put on here when we have so many great memories from today!
