Beating the Heat

It is already 90 degrees in our little city and it is only May!  So, we have been busy finding ways to beat the heat!  We've been back to the children's museum, we've been on the rides in the mall, we've spent lots of time playing in water and we've spent some time picking movies to watch in the heat of the afternoons.  We've been eating freezer pops and staying in the shade.  We've had lunch with Grandpa Dave and Grandma Donna (inside Scotty's).  Yep, we've been working hard to stay cool!

Exploring

Today we went to the Muncie Children's Museum to explore. Myla had never been there before and I don't remember ever being there. Mommy said I had been there, but it has been a very long time. There were lots of kids there from some of the local schools, but we really had a great time! There are lots of areas where we could use our imaginations! Mommy and daddy even imagined with us! We played supermarket. We played house. We played school. We played on tractors, in trains, in big trucks. We met some animals. It was really a great time! I am super excited because mommy says we will probably be going there much more this summer! I cannot wait to play there some more!

Jump Starting Summer

Just a Spoon Full of Sugar

Woo Wee, get a little bit of medicine in us and we keep going like the Energizer bunnies!  While little sis is finishing up medicine for her ear infection, big sis went to the doctor and started an antibiotic for her yuckies!  Mommy is trying hard not to go get medicine from the doctor, so she is taking medicine from Walgreens for her yuckies!  BUT, even with all the yuckies we've been able to keep up with everything!  An afternoon with our cousins, a serious game of t-ball where Lynley got to play 1st base and did an excellent job hitting and catching the ball, church and Mother's Day (not in that order)!  Yes, we just keep on trucking!
