From Texas to Indiana

Last Friday was day 3 of our Austin celebration for Aunt Emily.  That day we all split up to do different things.  Emily had some work to do and then she went to get Grandpa Joe and Grammy at the airport.  Grandpa Dave and Grandma Donna went to check out a nearby community and see a movie.  Uncle Tim had to work.  Myla, me, mommy and daddy went to check out The Thinkery, the children's museum in Austin.
We had a great afternoon!  The museum had lots of fun stuff going on.  We played in a "light room" where there were giant light brights.  We also got to freeze our shadow.  We spent time in a Hispanic neighborhood where Myla made tamales.  We listened to story time and did some kitchen experiments.  Mommy especially enjoyed listening to us play this piano made out of a tube and water.  It was really cool!
We spent several hours at the museum and then spent a little bit of time at the park right next to it.  It was a relaxing, fun time for all of us.  We checked out Whataburger before heading back to Aunt Emily's house.
Later that evening we met up with Aunt Emily and Uncle Tim, Grandpa Joe and Grammy for a nice dinner at the Hills Cafe.  We had a nice visit through out dinner and then afterwards back at the house.  I got to play the Wii on the wall!!  Uncle Tim set up the projector and it was the biggest screen ever!  We called it an early bed time because Saturday was a big day!
Saturday we all went to graduation!!  Mommy wasn't sure how Myla and I would handle 2 hours of a hooding ceremony, but we did super awesome!  There were lots of people there and so much to watch.  I especially enjoyed watching the person who was doing sign language for the program.  After seeing lots of people called across the stage, we heard Aunt Emily's name and we all cheered and clapped really loud!!!
After the graduation we went back to the house for a little party in honor of Dr. Richardson!  We had great bbq and lots of fun!  It was such a good afternoon and evening!  We loved playing in the back yard and ended the night by watching Hercules in the bedroom.
Sunday all the ladies and daddy went to San Antonio!  We spent some time at the Alamo and I learned a lot about the battle that took place there.  Myla was especially excited about the cannons.  She would hit the back of them and yell, "Fire!"  We also really liked the flags that were in the courtyard.  There was so much to see and learn.
We checked out the River Walk AND The Rainforest Cafe!  That place was absolutely amazing!!  There were animals everywhere!  The fish tanks were cool and our table was right next to a gorilla who made some noise every few minutes.  We even sat through a couple of thunder storms (though Myla didn't love those).  We saw giant butterflies, elephants, a snake, monkeys and lizards!!  It was the most fabulous time watching everything and eating amazing food!
Sunday night we got all packed up and ready for an early trip to the airport Monday morning.  It was very hard to leave Aunt Emily, Uncle Tim and Irie.  We really loved spending time with them and we really liked the city.  We especially loved all the time we spent with Irie giving him treats, getting him to do tricks, and seeing him first thing in the morning!  It was fun to take our 2nd airplane ride and we handled the whole thing like professionals!

What a WONDERFUL trip we had!  It was exciting, relaxing and busy all at the same time!!  We came back to Muncie and hit the ground running!  We are looking forward to a time when we can sit down and take a breath, but we aren't really sure when that happens!
