Blessed Christmas

Here are some pictures from our Christmas.  We were blessed to be with family!  We were blessed by all the love in our family!  We were blessed to have our first Christmas in our new home!

Catching Up with the Darlings - Lynley

You talk about growing up...I am growing up!  At least that is what everyone says.  I have been rocking the 1st grade.  I love everything ART and MUSIC and I even won a coloring contest in December!  I still love swimming and just finished up with Swim Club for the Winter.  I am going to take a couple of months off and then be back in the pool for summer.
I talked my parents into zebra print walls...in my favorite color turquoise, of course.  We took a couple of pictures during the process to show you.  AND I had my first big sleep over with my G.A. friends before Christmas!  It was so much fun!! AND daddy took me on a date to the Daddy/Daughter dance a couple of weeks ago.  We had a really great time and I even danced with daddy for 5 whole dances!!  I told mommy later that night it was the best night ever. 
Something big is happening tomorrow and I will show you pictures after it is done.  It is just another example of how I am growing up!

Catching Up with the Darlings - Myla First

Yes, it has been entirely too long since we've posted.  And we couldn't possibly fill in all the gaps of the last few months...but we are going to try and hit some of the highlights for you!
Myla enjoyed her first field trip to the pumpkin patch in October and she has been loving preschool this year!  It is hard to believe she will be in an all day class next year, but for this year she has been the only girl in her class... and she has ruled as every queen should!   She met Santa at school this year and told him she was really good!  She also had a Thanksgiving Feast and Valentine Party that mommy and daddy were able to go to with her!  School is GREAT!
Monday is a great day, too, because cuddle bug Myla gets to spend it with Granny and Blaze (and the Great-Great-Aunts)!  There is always a shoe fashion show to put on at Granny's house!
Myla is getting so big that she got a big girl bed!  She loves it and even knows how to make her bed for mommy.
Yep, Myla is getting so very big!! We can't believe how fast time is flying!
