Hi from both Girls

Hi, it's Myla and I just spent my first weekend away from mommy and daddy.  It went really well and I had a blast!  I am growing up so very fast!!  My new favorite thing to do is watch Boz the Bear and give my parents heart attacks by having no fear and being a big dare devil!

Hey, this is Lynley and today is my first day of ALL DAY PRESCHOOL!!!  As you can see, I am most excited by getting to go to Lunch Bunch!

State Fair

We had a real treat yesterday!  All four of us got to travel down to the state fair with Grandpa Dave and Grandma Donna!!  We had such a blast, that we didn't leave the fair until almost 10:00PM!  There were so many highlights, especially since this was Myla's first trip there.  We saw lots of animals, like cows, geese, ducks, chickens, roosters, rabbits, and even a monkey wearing a diaper!!!  I rode lots of rides.  We had some of the required fair food like ice cream and corn on the cob.  We spent a bit in the family fun park.  We saw bees making honey and I rode a pony.  And, maybe one of the most memorable moments was when I was picked to be part of a juggling act!! 
Me and one other lucky little guy got to wear fire hats and hold fire extinguishers in case the juggling with fire didn't go well!  I got to try the extinguisher out to see if it really worked and so I sprayed Grandma Donna really good!!!  Then, at the end, I got to spray the juggler!!  It was so much fun, but my extinguisher ran out of water and the juggler got another extinguisher out and SPRAYED ME!!  He gave me a set of juggling balls to take home for being a great assistant!!  It was so much fun!
We made lots of great memories yesterday!

F-I-V-E

Lynley turned five today and we celebrated!!  We spent the morning outside so she could ride her bike, we lunched at Olive Garden (as she requested), we played at Chuck E. Cheese, we shopped at Target (twice) and dinner was Little Ceasar's Pizza (again, as Lynley requested).  It was a great day!! 

One Blessed Little Mermaid

Today we had my 5th birthday party!!  Nobody can believe that I will be F-I-V-E years old in just two days!  Well this year I wanted a Little Mermaid birthday party because I love Ariel and I love swimming!! It has been a wonderful day of celebrating!  We started with one of my favorite breakfast time meals, biscuits and gravy.  Then daddy brought me a present, a Disney Princess Bike, from him and mommy and Myla.  And then Grandma Donna and Grandpa Dave came over to play with me and Myla while mommy and daddy went to set up for my party. 
Before I knew it, my family and friends were all at the church to wish me a happy birthday!!  It was so fun to play in the gym, open presents and enjoy some cake and ice cream!!  Me and mommy and daddy realize that we are so very blessed to have such an wonderful, amazing family and friends who love us so much!!!  It was a wonderful celebration and I even got to be a little mermaid princess because Aunt Lesa made me a pretty mermaid outfit!
