I made some master pieces and daddy did a great job carving them out! Once the pumpkins were finished Myla was much better. She loved to sit in the dark and watch them! We had a great night!

Pumpkin Guts
We carved our pumpkins tonight! For the first time ever, I loved pulling out the pumpkin guts!! Always in the past I really didn't want to have anything to do with that part of it. Tonight was Myla's first try at pumpkin carving. She saw the slimy guts and ran the other way. One time she almost put her hand in, but she ran the other direction yelling, "NO!" We kind of figured that would happen because she does not like to be messy very often!

Great Wolf Day
We decided to cap off our fall break week by taking a trip to Great Wolf Lodge! It was an amazing trip and we loved all of it!! We are already thinking about when we can go back and enjoy all the fun that place has to offer!
The water park was so much fun. Myla even went down a few little slides! She spent a lot of her time pulling ropes to spray people, going down the slide over and over again and hanging out with grandma and pa in one of the pools.
I spent my time going down big slides!! I even went down the water roller coaster, and I sat in the very front!!! My first big slide was a little scary because I wasn't sure what to expect, but mommy and daddy rode with me and I laughed the whole way down. Of course it helped that daddy was going backwards and yelling the whole time! After that first trip down I was unstoppable and made sure to ride the two biggest water slides several times with daddy, mommy and pa.
There was more than water, though! We had a great dinner at the lodge and then we all went to hear the bed time story. After the story there was a dance party for all the kids! Me and Myla really had a great time dancing and our family had a great time watching!
When it was time for Myla to go to bed, I got to go on a Quest with my new magic wand! It was so much fun. We got clues and had to use my wand to complete adventures all throughout the resort. Mommy thought it was fun to see all the kids and families running all over trying to complete the riddles. She tuckered out at 10:30pm though. She headed to the room and me and daddy went full force until 11:00pm!
Saturday morning I took pa on a quest. We had fun and actually finished up another adventure. Everyone spent the rest of the day in the water park. By Saturday night we were all ready for bed!!!
Sunday we went to IKEA for just a little bit. I got a new desk with a pink chair! Then we headed to Uncle Tim and Aunt Cince's house.
Me and Myla had never been to their house and we had a good time seeing some of their cats. I also told them all about Girl Scouts, school and swimming. Myla had fun playing with the cats toys!!! We stayed as long as we could before he had to head back to Muncie!
We had a great trip, but mommy discovered when we got home that we all had so much fun in the water that we forgot to take lots of pictures!!! We have a few to pictures to share with you, but more than that each of us has lots of great memories of our time together!

Serious Fall Play
What a day we had! I got a hair cut and then we spent the day at the children's museum!!! We give our stamps of approval to the new play scape! It really is so fun!! Myla especially enjoyed the Music Room where she showed off all her musical ability! I still especially love the archeology exhibit with the mummies and terra cotta warriors!
We are getting ready for our big Ohio & Kentucky weekend! Tomorrow we head to Great Wolf Lodge and Saturday night we head over the river to Kentucky. I love this fall break stuff!! I'm not sure I'll be ready to go back to school Monday!
